So I’ve started to make a game, again, in LOVE, this time going much better than the two other previous attempts, as of late I’ve currently successfully implemented:
- Tiled map loader
- Collision resolution
- Several animations
- Alternate player speeds
- Splash screens with tweening
- GUI system
- Main menu with graphics
- Some sort of OOP
- Map loader
- Camera system, with dampening
And that’s all in the space of 2 or so weeks, my life has been made significantly easier by a plethora of libraries in the LOVE2D framework, such that I’ve not really had to do too much difficult programming as of yet. Next on my agenda is to create a sound manager, and possibly get around to thinking about some kinda of storyline before I get further into the whole of creating art without some kind of scope in mind.
Here’s a video of the current games state.Return?
there's some rate-limiting going on with my comment provider atm, so i'd reccommend copying your message incase it gets blocked and retrying
