Pre-exam thoughts

T-minus 14 days and 7 hours until exams, even though I’ve done alot of revision I’m still quite worried about the electronics exam - but I think thats natural. I got 50/67 in the Introductory electronics exam, which is a B, I think 58 is an A on the mark scheme, but it differs from year to year, but because the grade boundaries are so packed together I think it’s safe to say I have a reasonably good chance of getting the grade I want, most of my marks were lost on the Boolean simplification and little things like not adding the CK input of a shift register, I even lost a mark on my handwriting, because my 3 looked like a 5, I’ll try to be more careful on the real exam.

I got 47 on the Further Electronics which I thought was okay, because I haven’t really finished condensing all of it and then going over it to get it to really stick with me, I think now that I’m in the high-ish end ballpark of I.E i should focus more on F.E to bump the whole thing up a bit more.

As for the coursework, I’m quietly confident about it all really, I still have several things to do to it, but I’m not too worried about it, It’s due on thursday - so I’ll stay behind at college over the next few days to get it nice and polished.

As for Physics, I’m not worried about at all, I’ll try to not be complacent about it - but getting A* in my mocks for the last month or so has boosted my ego to say the least, I’ll still study the Unit 3 though since that is supposed to be hard or something.
