When I read this blog I’m somewhat ashamed, no-one really wants to read any of this stuff and I’m almost tempted to just wipe the whole thing completely. In the last two years of maintaining, updating and editing this site I’ve never felt this way. Is my presence here really needed? It’s just small shout into the void, a shout which contains many, frankly boring and trite thoughts of a introverted idiot struggling to cope with their feelings or lack thereof.
All the posts are similar in nature, lacking effort and substance, a rehash of many
things said prior. I’ve many posts stacked up with the
draft tag added waiting to be
released but they feel unworthy of even being published.
In future I hope to separate the wheat from the chaff. When people come to sites they usually have a singular purpose in mind, my blog interwines emotional crap with vaugely interesting projects that someone may like - people just don’t want to read that kind of stuff. I’m going to split more personal posts from the formal ones in hopes of rectifying this issue. I want to be proud of what I’ve made.
I recently recieved an e-mail stating that the summer exam season (A-levels) is but 9-10 weeks away. This is probably going to be a turning point, I’ve spent the last month or so doing the most social interaction in my entire life and it’s left me mostly burned out and uninterested in talking with people to the point where it’s harming relationships with the people I care about. As a result I’m going to be taking a hiatus from all forms of online communication until all my exams are concluded.
This will inadvertenly have bad conseqeuences but I don’t really care. Apologies to anyone this upsets.Return?
there's some rate-limiting going on with my comment provider atm, so i'd reccommend copying your message incase it gets blocked and retrying
